Paralympic gold medalist Dylan Alcott & Untitled Group have today announced the lineup for all-inclusive music festival Ability Fest this November. Fresh off the back of winning his second Wheelchair singles championship at Wimbledon, Dylan Alcott has teamed up again with Untitled Group, the name behind festivals such as Beyond The Valley, Grapevine Gathering, Wildlands, For The Love, Pitch Music and Arts and more. 100% of the ticket sales will be donated to the Dylan Alcott Foundation, which helps the 4.3 million young Australian's living with a physical or non-physical disability.
Ability Fest is a festival that welcomes all guests- regardless of their abilities - to engage with and enjoy live music in the Alexandra Gardens. The festival site will be transformed into a fully accessible venue, fitted with elevated viewing platforms, pathways, quiet zones, a designated sensory area, companion ticketing and AUSLAN interpreters to ensure a remarkable experience for all.
Commenting on its unique position in the Australian music scene, Dylan Alcott says, “Ability Fest started as a place to bring friends together to enjoy good quality live music - no matter what your access challenges may be. Today, four years in, we have created an event that sets a new standard in the festival world, and shows others what is possible.”
The lineup is jam packed with starts from Australia's alternate and dance scene. From a Peking Duk DJ Set and What So Not, to Cub Sport, Eves Karydas and JK-47, there's something on the bill for everyone.
