Pa Salieu - Glidin ft. Slowthai

Two of Britain’s rising stars Pa Salieu and Slowthai have combined for the track of the week, ‘Glidin’. The Gambian via Coventry rapper brings Slowthai into his dark and brutally honest sonic world on the new single. The two extremely unique voices combine perfectly delivering a tune guaranteed to be an early Summer banger in European Summer and a Winter warmer for us fans downunder.

The Avalanches - Tonight May Have To Last Me All My Life (MF DOOM Remix)

To coincide with today’s 20th anniversary re-release of their critically acclaimed, ground breaking debut album 'Since I Left You', The Avalanches have shared a remix of their track ‘Tonight May Have To Last Me All My Life’ by the late great, MF DOOM. The previously unheard vocal feature serves as a beautiful homage to the rapper, combining his laidback poetic inspired vocal to their sample heavy instrumental bed.

Enny - I Want

Another one of Britain’s most exciting breakthrough artists, Enny, has released another banger to her ever-growing incredible discography. This time it comes in the form of ‘I Want’, a laid back house infected groovy tune. She flips perfectly between confidently delivered rap verses and a silky as ever hook.

Mariam Sawires - Trust

Egyptian-Australian artist Mariam Sawires continues to deliver with another great single. ‘Trust’ is taken from her forthcoming EP, ‘Healer’ set for release on July the 2nd. The track is a downtempo, brooding effort in R&B, combining concepts of overcoming skepticism and practicing self belief. It’s inspired by a close friend’s friendship she had observed, stating, “They fought then jumped for joy, then cried then ignored each other for weeks until they made up again,” the vocalist shares. “I witnessed my friend's tears, joy, anger, and everything in between.”

Chet Faker - Feel Good

Naarm/Melbourne raised and New York based producer Chet Faker has returned with his most exciting single from his new album, ‘Hotel Surrender’, titled, ‘Feel Good’. Appropriately named, the track is driven by an infectiously upbeat energy, with Murphy’s vocals gliding over the soul inspired beat. It’s accompanied by a gorgeous, single shot music video, which sees him rollerblading graciously through the Californian desert during golden hour.

Superchorus - Back Online

Superchorus is a new project created by David Gauci. He’s a familiar face in the Warrang / Sydney music scene, contributing to projects such as the Death Bells, Hatchie and of course Gauci. He’s today released a pop-rock psychedelic number by way of ‘Back Online’. It’s a gorgeous introduction, with all eyes now looking towards his forthcoming EP.

Jungle - Talk About It

New disco legends, Jungle, earlier this week released, ‘Talk About It’ another single from their highly anticipated forthcoming LP, ‘Loving In Stereo’. The track is as soulful as it gets, with breakbeat percussion combining perfectly with a dubby bassline and sparkling synths.

daine - dainecore

18-year-old emo-pop icon in waiting, daine, has released a new three track release, ‘boys wanna txt/dainecore’. The new track, dainecore is produced by starcity collective affiliate Miniskirt with additional sounds from club heroine Ninajirachi. Its end result is as chaotically wholesome as expected, taking inspiration from a jersey club beat, distorted melodies and percussion and is as glitchy as it is beautiful.

hearteyes - FUA ft. 8485

One of Australia’s most ambitious and experimental artists hearteyes has today returned with a new single, ‘FUA’ ft. 8485 taken from his newly announced mixtape, 'Headbangers 2'. The track is nearly impossible to describe, with raucous and raw energy at its nature. It’s almost as if a brick wall of noise smacked you in the face, but it sounds and feels amazing.

Thandi Phoenix - Overdrive

Thandi Phoenix is a brooding pop icon, with track after track combining to create one of Australia’s most anthem fuelled discography ever. Today, the Sydney/Eora based vocalist has released her new single, ‘Overdrive’ produced and co – written by dance pioneer Paul Mac. ‘Overdrive’ closely follows from her previous release, ‘Count Me Out’, with the two tracks combining to mark a new era for the already universally adored artist, one channeling creative freedom and elation.
