Live Review: SOUNDCLOUD WRAP: KLP

Sydney-based singer/songwriter (and total babe) KLP has been making many waves of late, most recently contributing vocal work with Aussie bass-heavyweights WHAT SO NOT on their latest track 'Jaguar' (see below).

We managed to pull KLP away from her busy schedule to get the lowdown on some of her fave tracks at the moment for our latest installment of the SOUNDCLOUD WRAP series.

MO 'XXX' (KILTER Remix)

"KILTER is definitely one to watch in my books for 2104. I love his original "Hold Me" and all his remixes are tasty as hell."

DISCLOSURE 'Voices' (WOOKIE Remix)

"DISCLOSURE have brought back soulful toplines and made them cool again. So into it."

WHAT SO NOT 'Jaguar'

"The guys sent me this beat quite a long time ago and I remember when I first heard it I was pretty keen to write a vocal strong enough to match the hugeness of the track. To have it out finally is rad. Definitely a topline highlight for me for 2013."

RA$$EL COOL 'Cookie Jacker '94'

"RA$$EL COOL (formally known as Fowl Murk) is part of Heaps Decent - this track is such a jam. We had a Heaps Decent showcase recently and it's wonderful to see how far everyone has come since we first meet them in workshops. RA$$EL has great ideas, flow and his stage presence is just growing and growing."

LATE NITE TUFF GUY 'Make Me Feel' (LNTG Muscle Mix)

"I was lucky enough to see LNTG in London earlier this year and he played so many of his disco edits and remixes, everyone was losing their shit! Myself included."

FRANZ FERDINAND 'Right Action' (LIV SPENCER Rework)

"I've had a soft spot for Franz since day 1 but it's cool having DJ friendly versions of tracks to play out at gigs now."

CHRIS MALINCHAK 'Call My Name'

"This is a slow groover... and it's also available for FREE download on his Soundcloud."

ATUMPAN 'That Thing' (SSET MO's Safari Remix)

"This track makes me want to dance around a beach at sunset with maracas!"

FLIGHT FACILITIES 'Stand Still'

"Can these boys ever do wrong? Geez, their album is going to be insane. Seriously."

VILLA 'If I'
