Rex Orange County has today returned announcing his forthcoming record, 'WHO CARES?' will release on the 11th of March. Alongside the announcement, he's released the albums lead single and accompanying video, 'KEEP IT UP'.

The release is the first since 2020 live record, 'LIVE AT RADIO CITY HALL' taken from two sold out shows at the venue just before his eventually cut short 'PONY' tour. Following the cancellations and a period quarantined in the UK Rex trekked over to Amsterdam to record the record in Amsterdam with Benny Sings.

Following ten days of work in close partnership with Benny, the record was formed. Rumours say it's a playful record, created by an artist in a playful mood. Early highlights based on the tracklist include a collaboration with one of Rex's earliest fans, Tyler, The Creator, which marks their first collaboration since Tyler's 2017 'Flower Boy'. The California based artist provides a verse on 'OPEN A WINDOW' the albums second track.

The single released today, 'KEEP IT UP' sees Rex Orange County at his most chirpy uplifting best. It opens with a gorgeous string section, before erupting with a minimal percussion run, and Rex's trademark vocal delivery. With its music video, he's seen dancing his way through Amsterdam's iconic and busy city centre, performing the track alongside Benny.
