Sydneysider WAVE RACER is back with his ecstatically happy new single, ‘Flash Drive’. Although this time he’s not with his usual partner in crime Basenji, the single still has heaps of kawaii sass, a familiar frat party bounce and hum-a-long ‘oh oh oh’s.

The Future Classic artist continues to challenge conventional house music boundaries, celebrating the bubblegum pop that’s been steadily emerging over the past couple of years and mixing it with Jersey club trap, heavy kick drums and electronic elements that fizz around the track. Sydney’s Astral People tweeted that "it sounds like if Jamaica was taken over by robots who like to party".

The single is part of Wave Racer’s forthcoming Flash Drive EP, which is due for a springtime release on October 16 via Future Classic, and available for pre-order on iTunes now.
