Ballarat five-piece Gold Fields have taken on Little Dragon for the latest instalment of their ever-expanding discography.
Cited as one of their all time favourite bands, Ballarat five-piece GOLD FIELDS are I guess you could say, quite fond of LITTLE DRAGON. So fond, that they've taken on their track 'Pretty Girls' for the next instalment of their ever expanding discography. And we here at Purple Sneakers, are pleased to be one of the first to share it with you.
The group has a knack for bringing unusual content together for a stunning array of little noises here or there that combine to create an illustrious soundscape. GOLD FIELD’s take on LITTLE DRAGON’s ‘Pretty Girls’, brings an incredibly harmonious undertone to the Prince-esque sound driven by the band.

Housing a wondrous amount of sustained synths and airy atmospheres, the remix tends to lean the track towards a more fantasy and inner thought kind of sound. Adding an intense layer of percussive hits to the already stunning soundscape, it is actually the way that the vocals blend with the delicate hook that the sound’s image is created.
A stunning track in its entirety, GOLD FIELDS have created a chilled out, visually and audibly stunning version of this already inspired piece.
