Collarbones release their new track 'Burnout' taken from the upcoming mixtape, 'Atlantis' (2014).
Probably one of the more successful and least creepy long-distance relationship stories to bloom from the internet, is the pairing of Marcus Whale and Travis Cook, the collaborative masterminds of electronic duo COLLARBONES.
Whilst their 2011 debut LP, 'Iconography', introduced listeners to their ability of harnessing a diverse range of influences and skilfully interweaving these elements into their works , it was the boys’ 2012 follow up album, 'Die Young', that assured everyone of COLLARBONES continuous uprise.

With a third LP due for release some time later in the year, the lads are warming up crowds with the premiere of their new single 'Burnout', the first track taken from their upcoming 'Atlantis' 2014 mixtape.
Laced with psychedelic sonic zooms, reverberating synths and echoing vocals, the tune is a sneaky slow burner that'll have you searching and asking 'Where's the bass? This is a Collarbones song, right?'. Of course, like most good things, it comes the moment you stop looking for it, with the booming bass drum making its awaited appearance, leaving you to sigh out with jubilation, 'Oh, there it is'.
We reckon COLLARBONES are definitely still Artists To Watch.
