Live Review: Ok Sure is enigmatic on her dark and mysterious guest mix

9 February 2018 | 1:44 pm | Emma Jones

With her debut album, 'Pleomorphism', released last week, Ok Sure has well and truly hit the ground running in 2018 and isn't slowing down anytime soon.

Melbourne producer OK SURE levelled up last week: she released her highly anticipated debut album, Pleomorphism. What was initially an EP continued to evolve, just as Ok Sure has done, until it reached its final form: dark, mysterious, and utterly unique.

With a heavy dose of influence from industrial rave sounds and a penchant for all things otherworldly, Ok Sure delved further and further into her artistic psyche to create Pleomorphism, collaborating with the likes of TANZER for added emphasis while further honing her skills as a unique and impressive artist in her own right. Her steady drip feed of singles over recent months has shone a light on the individuality of her work and further amplified her ambition and unwavering work ethic. Sounding like someone is throwing a rave at a seance, Ok Sure now possesses an ability to bring you back to life and straight into the underground where her music thrives.

Ok Sure has been on our radar for some time, and it's with great joy that we host a special and exclusive mix from her on our radio show this week. Once again highlighting her deep and dark influences, she has delivered just under 20 minutes of trance-inducing industrial rave that will have your limbs flailing and your mind bending. You feel like you can't escape, but you don't exactly want to either as Ok Sure works her magic to create something addictive in its heaviness and relentlessness.
