A whole stack of new tunes for you to sink your teeth into includes new singles from Kobie Dee, CHAII, Nerve, Vetta Borne + more!

Each week, we receive countless submissions of exciting new music, so we’ll be taking you through a weekly wrap up of all our favourite new tunes every Friday called #TrustedForTaste. Follow our Spotify playlist to never miss our updates!

Kobie Dee - Role Models

Proving himself as a rising force in hip hop, Kobie Dee returns with 'Role Models'. A hard hitting and personal cut taking aim at the cycle of poverty and drug use in Sydney’s disadvantaged suburbs. It's raw, it's real, and it's impressive from start to finish. If you listen to one song this week, make it this (and check the exceptional video while you're at it as well).

CHAII - WOW (Look At Me)

Who gave CHAII permission to go this hard? 'WOW (LOOK AT ME)' is an explosive new single from the genre-defying artist, following up her recent debut EP, Lightswitch, released only in July. It's electric, with palpable chaotic energy which CHAII manages to remain in control of throughout the blistering track, proving she is well and truly the master of ceremonies in her constantly evolving artistic vision. This is a big move from CHAII!

Nerve - Reece's Peeces

There is no one doing it like Nerve right now. The prolific rapper returns with yet another heater in 'Reece's Pieces', rising to the challenge of a sparse beat and delivering his now iconic spitfire bars full of witty one-liners and hard hitting punchlines. As he says in the track, he made the instrumental in just five minutes which is a testament to just how skilled he is as a producer, and the way he fills up all the space he can with his concise, formidable bars proves Nerve is worthy of all the hype he's receiving and more.

Vetta Borne - Beyoncé

After debuting her new moniker, Vetta Borne earlier this year, multi-talented singer-songwriter and producer Maribelle Añes is back for more with the release of a new single and the exciting news of her signing to Soul Modern. Titled 'Beyoncé', it's another crystalised delivery of her formative influences of 90s RnB and soul combined with her exceptional production chops to make for a dreamy expression of gratitude and love.

Kilter - Friction Ft JessB

Unleashing his first release in 12 months, Kilter is back with a fiery new release this week. Tapping none other than rising star JessB, 'Friction' absolutely bangs. It's unpredictable with its a carnival beat with a menacing bassline and Arabian-style melody, fierce in its vocals courtesy of JessB, and impressive in its fusion of techno and house stylings. Ultimately, it's Kilter showing there is still plenty more left in the tank and we can't get enough.

Teischa - doubt

Shaking things up yet again, Teischa teams up with renowned producer UNO Stereo (Khalid, Kaiit, Denzel Curry) for a new single titled 'doubt' this week. It's the latest in a string of releases this year, and one of her very best yet with her unique fusion of RnB, pop and electronic on full display to create an arresting, emotive listening experience. This is one to let wash all over you and get totally lost in. A total dream.

Grayscale - Diamond

With summer just around the corner, we're searching for those quintessential summer anthems to track warmer days and the excitement and promise the season and end of the year brings. Philadelphia band Grayscale have delivered exactly this this week in their new single, 'Diamond'. Marking a sonic turning point for the band as they pivot from pop punk to more indie rock sounds, 'Diamond' is a glimmering, uplifting breath of fresh air. Windows down, volume up and let it all go.

Tim Shiel - Get Into Your Love (Ft. Lucy Roleff)

For fans of Jamie xx or DJ Koze or even Tirzah, Tim Shiel taps Melbourne singer/harpist Lucy Roleff for 'Get Into Your Love'. A fusion of afrobeat rhythms, gentle dub throws and a seductive melody combine for a captivating listen from start to finish, and a perfect example of why Shiel remains one of the most forward-thinking and innovative producers in the country. Released as part of his Distraction Season series, it's an unpredictable, slightly off-kilter but meticulous new release.

Motez - Give Your Heart Away

King Motez returns with another electrifying slice of emotive house with 'Give Your Heart Away'. It's uplifting, euphoric and quintessentially Motez with a driving bass line and a soulful vocal sample, and is a perfect addition to your growing list of songs you need to hear once we can return to dancefloors. Following on from the release of his absolutely glorious Soulitude EP which saw the producer shake things up with a pensive and introspective body of work, Motez gets right back down to business with 'Give Your Heart Away'.
