The day featured a stacked line up that featured a range of genres, energies, tempos and styles to create a neat reflection on the current state of dance music in so called Australia.

The sets from Boiler Room Naarm/Melbourne have been put on YouTube for our viewing pleasure.

The day featured a stacked line up that included a range of genres, energies, tempos and styles to create a neat reflection on the current state of dance music in so called Australia.

It featured sets from  Mall Grab, C.FRIM, Lady Shaka, Lakota, Pretty Girl, salute and Yung Singh , who performed at Melbourne's PICA (Port Melbourne Industrial Centre For The Arts) on Saturday the 26th. The event was their biggest in Australia to date.

Mall Grab headed up the event with a monster, rave fuelled set following his biggest career year to date. He closed his set with standout track from his debut album, What I Breathe, Metaphysical, which capped the night off in perfect fashion.

There are no surprises that the best set of the day, in our opinion, came from the legendary C.FRIM, who performed everything from hard hitting techno, bassy trap and uptempo club. An edit of Flashing Lights proved as the major highlight from the set, alongside a huge edit of Busta Rhymes' verse from Look At Me Now , also sending the crowd bonkers.

Lady Shaka brought arguably the most energy of the day, playing unadulterated party starters from the worlds of breaks, UKG, house, dancehall and everything in between. The set included a fire mash-up of Fergie's Glamorous and Kylie Minogue's Can't Get You Out Of My Head.

Yung Singh amped the crowd up massively, performing his signature style of UKG and rave. Pretty Girl delivered a live set showcasing her production prowess, with her originals sounding amazing on the big stage. Salute delivered an uptempo set of synth driven, bass booming house music with hints of garage intertwined between. Kalyani performed her Boiler Room with confidence and prowess, traversing genre, tempo across a perfect 80 minutes of dance music.
