The internet is collectively scratching their heads in confusion and horror after a video made the rounds of a woman seemingly sprinkling her brother’s ashes in a packed Ibiza pool during a day rave party.

In an absolutely wild video posted to TikTok which has since spread like wildfire, the woman is initially seen bopping to the tunes in a pool filled with other guests.

The punter, determined to give her brother the ultimate send-off, can then be seen opening a tube before sprinkling grey dust — which she claimed were brother's ashes — directly into the club's pool, probably thinking he'd love to be part of the ultimate Ibiza pool party.

“Just me sprinkling my brother about Ushuaia,” she captioned the jaw-dropping clip..

As the video spread to other social media platforms, the backlash came swiftly.

“Just seen a bird sprinkling her brother's ashes in the Ushuaia pool. That’s enough social media for today,” one shocked netizen commented, with a second simply adding, “WTF.”

Another joked, “I threw my brother’s ashes in Ibiza, to show Avicii I was cool.”

However, other social media users saw nothing wrong with the questionable move.

“What's the problem, people peeing in the pool is worse,” one commenter said, while another added, “I don’t see a problem with this. I’m sure the people’s feet have been in worse.”

A third added, “Why is this disgusting??? It's HER brother and I'm sure she wanted to party with him. I've seen people fuck at the places...move on.”

According to LADbible, the person who originally posted the video to X claims to have been contacted by the venue and asked to take the video down from social media “immediately”

According to the X user, the venue got in touch to say: "Hello, we saw the video of the pool at our venue that you just shared. This needs to be removed immediately please as I'm sure you can understand, this can easily be taken out of context.”

"Whilst we are sympathetic to the sentiment, we prefer for this not to be shared publicly.".

It’s not the first time someone's ashes have ended up in an unusual location — singer P!NK was left horrified when a fan threw her mother’s ashes on stage during her headlining set at Hyde Park’s British Summer Time festival.

While performing the M!ssundaztood classic, Just Like A Pill, a fan threw a little white bag onto the stage. The Never Gonna Not Dance Again singer picked it up, looked at the bag closely and asked, “Is this your mum? I don’t know how I feel about this.”
