Sparkling SYDNEY Festival Brings A Day Of Bubbles, Culinary Delights + Live Tunes

Sparkling SYDNEY, the highly anticipated sparkling wine festival, is all set to make its grand return to Pirrama Park in Pyrmont on Sunday, November 26, 2023.

The event is a celebration of Australian gastronomy, showcasing the finest sparkling wines from both Australia and around the world. The festival offers punters a day of gourmet cuisine, artisanal produce, as well as live music in an event that’s curated for wine enthusiasts, foodies, and music lovers alike.

Diverse Range of Sparkling Wines

Over 60 different sparkling wines will be available for guests to explore, ranging from Blanc de Blanc and Petit Verdot to Sparkling Malbec and Prosecco.

Among the participating wineries are Petersons Wines, Savannah Estate, Peterson House, Rowlee Wines, Iron Gate Estate, Tamburlaine Organic Wines, Weerona Wines, Vinifera Wines, Horner Wines, Wild Wren Wines, Stockman's Ridge, Saddler's Creek Wines, Stonehurst Wines, Boydell's Wines, DiVino, Ferrari Trento, and Gilbert Family Wines.

Craft Spirits and Refreshing Cocktails

For those with an interest in spirits, the festival will include El Jimador Tequila and Gin Mare activation bars, offering tastings and spring-inspired cocktails.

Local small-batch distillers such as Finders Distillery and Small Mouth Vodka will be featured, along with non-alcoholic cocktails by SMUG.

Fresh Sydney Rocks Oysters

The culinary offerings extend beyond wine and spirits, with freshly shucked Sydney Rocks oysters taking centre stage. These will be expertly paired with signature cocktails, wines, and craft ginger beer, courtesy of a 5th generation oyster farmer.

Gourmet Food Galore

Food enthusiasts can revel in a selection of gourmet options, including Sofrito Paella, The Gnocchi Way, Japanese Aburi Bar, Lucio's Pizzeria, and a variety of vegetarian and vegan choices.

Also not to be missed are the Hunter Valley cheeses, smoked spices, gourmet nuts, cured meats, a delightful choux patisserie, and sweet treats such as natural pancakes and gelato.

Live Music Extravaganza

Music lovers will be treated to a diverse lineup featuring contemporary jazz classics blended with R&B and pop.

The main stage will showcase talents like Emma Pask, celebrated as "the greatest gift to Australian Jazz Vocals," and Prinnie Stevens, known as "Australia's own R&B Soul Songstress."

Completing the impressive lineup are Virna Senzone and Kate Wadey, accompanied by their talented musicians. For a different vibe, the DJ Garden will feature the tunes of Kate Monroe, renowned as the "First Lady of House," and Paris Groovescotter, offering a unique blend of disco, R&B, soul, and house music.

Free Entry and Ticket Packages

Sparkling SYDNEY is a free-entry event, open to visitors of all ages. Wine lovers can purchase branded festival wine-tasting glasses and ticket packages on the day, starting at $37.50, which includes one glass and five tasting tickets. Pre-sale wine-tasting packages are also available for purchase online for convenient pickup on the day.
