Rico Nasty Releases New Track 'Turn It Up' Produced By 100 Gecs

Certified icon Rico Nasty has just dropped her highly anticipated first official single of the year, Turn It Up.

Produced by frequent collaborators, 100 Gecs, the track is accompanied by a visually stunning music video that is also out now,

Known for her signature alt-rap sound, Rico delivers her classic spitfire flow in Turn It Up, showcasing why she is one of the hottest artists in the scene right now.

This latest release comes after the re-release of Beat My Face, which has since been chosen as the official ad campaign sound for makeup giant Urban Decay after only being available to stream on Soundcloud. 

Rico Nasty has truly been on a roll this year, kicking off her sold-out 2023 headlining tour, Monster Energy Outbreak Tour Presents: Rico Nasty, in Toronto earlier this month.

Joined by the talented Omeretta The Great as her opening support act, the dynamic duo has already performed across the US in Boston, Brooklyn, Philly, D.C., and Nashville, with the tour wrapping up in Cincinnati on May 27th.

Last year, Rico delivered a 17-track mixtape project titled LAS RUINAS, which featured collaborations with singer/songwriter Bibi Bourelly (known for her work with Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, and Usher), electronic producer and DJ Marshmello, and more. 

She also joined Kehlani on the domestic leg of her Blue Water Road Trip tour in September last year.

It's clearly been one hell of a year for Rico Nasty, and the release of Turn It Up is just further proof of her creative prowess. With her unique blend of alt-rap and her infectious energy, it's no surprise that she continues to sell out shows and rack up accolades.
