Central Cee, Dom Dolla, Peking Duk + More Lead Line-Up For Rhythm & Vines 2023

New Zealand’s summer music festival Rhythm & Vines has released its first line-up announcement for 2023 - and it’s bound to get punters excited.

The three-day event, which will return to Gisborne from December 28 to January 1 in an epic New Year’s celebration, will see the return of UK drill rapper Central Cee, who will return to the stage after performing at last year’s Listen In Festival.

The Sprinter rapper will be joined by beloved Australian DJ duo, Peking Duk, as well as London drum and bass producer Wilkinson.

There’s also the exciting inclusion of rising local house legend, Dom Dolla, who has had an unstoppable year that’s included selling out two hometown shows in five minutes, dropping a single with Nelly Furtado, closing out Day Trip Festival, and recently being announced as a headliner for upcoming Aussie festival Spilt Milk.

Those heading to Rhythm & Vines can also get excited for the likes of Kiwi artist Gin Wigmore, pop duo Foley, Hedex, Delta Heavy, Georgia Lines, PARK RD, Jujulipps and more who are yet to be announced.

In a statement, R&V co-founder and programming director Hamish Pinkham said he was “incredibly proud” of the undoubtedly impressive lineup.

“From Central Cee, one of the most exciting and sought-after rappers in the world right now, to iconic electronic acts like Dom Dolla and Wilkinson, to some of the best wāhine talent Aotearoa has to offer, R&V 23-24 is shaping up to be one for the books,” he said,

“With close to 100 acts tipped to perform, the first release certainly gives festival fans a taste of the party to come at one of the globe’s premier New Year destinations.”
