Purple Sneakers presents: Fresh Prince + Bel Air

For over 2 years we’ve been throwing massive Purple Sneakers parties for ya’ll in Canberra to flail your limbs and smoosh face at. We’ve been known to “foster a real sense of community in the crowd; as strangers come together to dance, hook up and vom as one” – (thanks FasterLouder!!)

The good news is we’re not stopping there, no siree Bob. In August, we are bringing more of the party you love to the one and only Transit bar.

Arriving August 13^th is our brand new live music night – FRESH PRINCE. Along with other Purple Sneakers clubs around the country, Fresh Prince will feature the hottest in Australian and International live indie music, as well as DJs that’ll have you dancing til the wee hours. Fresh Prince is here to mess your head up – to see you mosh then grind, to clap along then grope along.  To kick off our new monthly party, we are bringing you indie darlings DEEP SEA ARCADE to melt your winter hearts, supported by local heroes FUN MACHINE.

As if a new night wasn’t the best news ever but we are also taking our last-Friday-of-the-month-all-DJ parties up a notch. We see you like the party. We all like the party. Who doesn’t like the party? On August 26^th, the newly renamed BEL AIR will smash all our past events in the face - we’ve shipped inAustralia’s best indie party DJs – Indian Summer (Melb) and our very own PhDJ - to get you sweaty like you’ve never been before. You think Transit has gone off? You aint’ seen nothing yet.
