Pretty Girl Is Supporting Bonobo Across His Australian Tour This August

Following the success of his critically acclaimed album Fragments, electronic artist and producer Simon Green, better known as BONOBO, earlier this year announced Australian East coast tour dates for August.

Yesterday, he announced that the one and only Pretty Girl will be joining him on tour across all dates, performing a live set.

The Naarm based producer's 2021 saw her evolve from an avid community member standing front left in a club to demanding attention with her live set on some of Australian dance music’s most prestigious names. 

The transition was triggered by the release of her debut EP,  Middle Ground which was released on Eora based Gallery Records in November of last year. Every bass line, percussion run and energetic element throughout the tracklist is juxtaposed gorgeously by a melody, a waving synth or ambient tone.

What results is an EP with emotive presence, meticulously layered production and ebbs and flows in narrative and energy. 

She joins one of electronic music's most illustrious producers, with a discography thats achieved three Grammy nominations and performing to two million people for the tour in support of his 2017 album Migration.

Bonobo will perform at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on August 3 before heading to Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on August 5 and Brisbane’s The Tivoli on August 7.
