Playboi Carti Arrested For Allegedly Choking Pregnant Girlfriend

Jordan Carter, also known as Playboi Carti has been arrested for assault after allegedly beating and choking his girlfriend. 

The incident allegedly occurred between the rapper and his partner over an argument about a paternity test.

The woman told police she had been in living with him for just under one year and had been in a relationship with him for two years. She was 14 weeks pregnant at the time of the incident in December.

She alleges that Carter grabbed her by the throat and pushed her and held her neck until she could barely breathe. She ran outside to her car and said that Carti continued to attack her, dragging her out of the car and putting his hand on her mouth, preventing her from using the vehicle's SOS features to call the police.

The police then arrived on the scene where she had visible injuries on her chest, back and neck.

Carter's Lawyer spoke to TMZ stating, “Mr. Carter was falsely accused. Pursuant to my communications with the Fulton County District Attorney‘s office, this case will be dismissed without any prosecution or litigation.”
