Watch Peking Duk Mix Skin On Skin With AC/DC

To die for or to cringe to?

Peking Duk has been closing out the massive Grapevine Gathering stages across Australia over the past few weeks, performing a mash up which is either to absolutely die for or to cringe to. We will let you decide.

The duo have been performing AC/DC's Thunderstruck as well as Skin On Skin's Burn Dem Bridges, which makes sense if you've ever seen them live. While known for their rampant, genre bending DJ mixes we could never have imagined these to tracks being mixed together seamlessly. Regardless, the duo have gone and done it.

Skin On Skin has had his biggest year to date, releasing viral Boiler Room set and the subsequent global hit Burn Them Birdges. The Brisbane via South Sudan producer has become known as a trailblazer in electronic dance music globally, pioneering a new sound of bounce driven, high energy techno that blends perfectly with alternative hip hop. Burn Dem Bridges is the magnum opus of this new genre, utilising Sav'o and Horrid1's drill anthem Violent Siblings to create an unadulterated banger. The synth work in the track combines perfectly with its rhythmic section, creating a build up ready built for main stages globally.

Grapevine Gathering will embark on it's final weekend this week, taking the stage at the Roche Estate, Hunter Valley, in New South Wales on the 15th of October, before wrapping up at Sirromet Wines, Mount Cotton in Queensland on the 16th of October.

The festival's lineup features The Kooks, The Veronica's, Ball Park Music, Confidence Man and Gus Dapperton alongside legends Jack River, Alice Skye, Nyxen and Becca Hatch.
