Canadian indie-pop band Peach Pit have announced their first headline shows on Australian soil, hitting theatres along the east coast this October.

They’ll kick things off in Naarm/Melbourne on Thursday October 12 – when they’ll play to some 1,000 fans at 170 Russell – before hitting up the Metro Theatre in Eora/Sydney on Saturday October 14. After a detour through Tharawal/Wollongong to play this year’s Yours & Owls festival the following day (October 15), the band will head to Meanjin/Brisbane for one more headline show, scheduled for Monday October 16 at The Triffid.

Tickets for all three of Peach Pit’s own shows go on sale at 12pm next Monday (July 31), with a 24-hour presale – exclusive to Frontier Touring members – starting at the same time this Friday (July 28). Head here for more info on both sales.

The tour comes in support of Peach Pit’s third studio album, From 2 To 3, which arrived last March and featured the singles Up Granville, Look Out! and Vickie. Fans can also expect the band to perform songs from their 2017 debut Being So Normal, as well as its 2020 follow-up You And Your Friends.
