Olivia Rodrigo Adds New Dates To 'GUTS' Australian Tour

That was quick: just as the American Express pre-sale for Olivia Rodrigo’s upcoming GUTS Australian tour dates ended, Live Nation have announced additional dates for the singer in Sydney and Melbourne.

Rodrigo’s first-ever tour dates in Asia and Australia have been met with significant demand. The good 4 u hitmaker is now playing four nights in Melbourne and Sydney (she was already set to perform for two nights per city), and no further dates will be added.

With the new tour dates, Olivia Rodrigo will now perform at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday, 9, Thursday, 10, Sunday, 13, and Monday, 14 October, and Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Thursday, 17, Friday, 18, Monday, 21, and Tuesday, 22 October. Supalonely singer BENEE will open all dates in Australia.

The Live Nation and My Ticketek pre-sales open today at 1 pm AEST and close tomorrow at noon local time. More information is available on the Live Nation and Ticketek websites. At the time of editing (11 pm), all pre-sale allocated tickets are exhausted.

The general sale opens tomorrow (16 May) at 1 pm AEST via Ticketek.

Olivia Rodrigo is touring in support of her  second albumGUTS.

She said about the album, “For me, this album is about growing pains and trying to figure out who I am at this point in my life.

“I feel like I grew ten years between the ages of 18 and 20—it was such an intense period of awkwardness and change. I think that’s all just a natural part of growth, and hopefully, the album reflects that.”
