The Jungle Giants, Eves Karydas and more head north for FNQ festival 'Day Trip'

12 January 2021 | 3:50 pm | Emma Jones

Day Trip is set to bring The Jungle Giants, Eves Karydas, Genesis Owusu and many more to Far North Queensland next month!

Live music is slowly but surely returning to our lives, and boutique festival Day Trip is kicking off this year with a bang to make sure Far North Queensland punters get their fair share. Set to bring an array of exciting indie and dance acts to Townsville this month, Day Trip is not a ticket you'll want to miss if you're in the area.

Headlined by The Jungle Giants, the indie-dance fourpiece will also be joined by Eves Karydas, Genesis Owusu, Stace Cadet, Young Franco and Health Club, with Late November, Otherwise DJs and Very Casual DJs also joining the bill. The festival will take over the Townsville Turf Club, and with a 2500 person capacity, its an intimate affair set in beautiful surrounds.

In a message to attendees, Day Trip organisers said, "This is not your typical packed-out music festival - we’ve limited tickets to just 2,500 so you can fully enjoy the music in a truly unique setting under the North Queensland sun."
