New Multi-Day Festival ‘A3’ Drops Line-up

A new multi-day festival focussing on EDM, art and architecture is coming to Victoria late this year: A3. 

Presented by Novel, the company behind Let Them Eat Cake NYD Festival, A3 will be held in Victoria’s West Gippsland Region from Friday, November 29 to Monday, December 2.

A3’s full line-up was announced today (June 25), and is packed with EDM heavy-hitters, visual artists, and spatial designers.

Headlining the festival will be Belgium’s club-driven producer Amelie Lens, alongside Swedish techno DJ Adam Beyer. The UK’s iconic house and techno series HE.SHE.THEY. will make an appearance, as will Dutch tastemaker Chris Stussy, Ukrainian techno wonder Etapp Kyle, Berlin club conductor fka.m4a, and fellow Berlin sensation Bad Boombox. Melbourne locals Bella Claxton and Amity will hit the stage too. You can find the full line-up below.

As for the art side of things, 28 visual talents, teams and architecture studios are set to collaborate on A3, including NYC’s virtual performance studio Team Rolfes, Brooklyn-based cinematic artist Kevin Peter He, and London’s multi disciplinary studio The Experience Machine. 

Pre-sale for A3 opens 12pm AEST on Tuesday, July 2, and can be accessed by signing up to their ballot. General sale opens the next day, at 12pm AEST on Wednesday, July 3.

Three day tickets (which include camping) will range from $355 to $475 + booking fees, and glamping options will range from $950 to $1900. Bus tickets, vehicle passes, and private charter buses will all be available too. Punters are welcome to BYO alcohol, though bars will be open too.
