Following on from a hugely successful event in Melbourne, Live Nation is bringing its game-changing live music discovery series, ONES TO WATCH, back to New South Wales for a winter edition at Oxford Art Factory on Thursday, 22nd June.

Showcasing some of the best-emerging talent Australia has to offer, ONES TO WATCH is a dynamic industry forecast of the artists currently on the precipice of achieving international success.

The latest instalment of the hugely successful series will see talented performers Lola Scott, Bella Amor and Sam McGovern hit the stage, primed to impress with a collectively diverse set of sonic styles and influences.

Lola Scott has been crafting a space for herself within the Australian pop landscape since 2018, breaking through with her striking debut EP, ¼ Life Crisis; further cementing her status as an artist with longevity and impact on 2022’s Breakfast For Dinner EP.

A sharp blend of dream-pop, ‘90s grunge and a wickedly fresh take on chaotic pop, the record arrived as a breath of fresh air and an exciting indicator of where Scott was set to go next.

Hailing from the Gold Coast, Bella Amor’s vocals and songwriting style have been intriguing and exciting industry and fans alike since her track Beauty began turning heads in 2020.

Inspired by the soulful and rich tones permeating music by the likes of Matt Corby and YEBBA, Bella Amor brings this depth together with her sharp and witty perspective of young adulthood.

Singles released in recent years, such as 2022’s can’t get laid, all my friends are high and 2023’s sentimental reflect Bella’s artistic talent; with her music anchored by emotional explorations and honest observations on life.

Speaking of being chosen as a performing artist for ONES TO WATCH, Bella Amor said, "I'm super excited and grateful to be a part of the ONES TO WATCH lineup for 2023. I am really looking forward to playing alongside some amazing artists."

Meanwhile, 22-year-old Sam McGovern is one of the latest artists to come out of Western Australia who has been putting on for the West Coast; producing some gorgeous moments of music since his introduction in 2021.

A WAM (Western Australian Music) Song Of The Year nominee for debut track Grow, McGovern achieved viral notoriety with the release of his single Memory – a song that has amassed over 20 million views across social media platforms, propelling him further onto radars right around the country.

Along with the opportunity to showcase on such a respected platform, the artists participating in Live Nation’s ONES TO WATCH event will now each receive a $10,000 contribution towards Live Nation curated touring activity for each artist - including but not limited to showcases and club shows, showcasing Live Nation's commitment to continue their support of emerging artists outside of their official event series.

The funds, granted to help support touring aims, will help these artists take crucial next steps, spreading and solidifying their presence on stages in Australia and, in time, internationally.

Originally launching in the US in 2012, ONES TO WATCH alumni include global superstars Halsey, Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa, Lewis Capaldi, and more.

Recently, the Melbourne event saw rising stars PANIA, BOY SODA and Mitch Santiago perform at the showcase.
