Rap legends Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Too $hort, and E-40 founded the supergroup Mount Westmore in April 2021 and just announced their new album, fittingly titled Snoop, Cube, 40, $hort out on Friday, 9 December.

The group set expectations high by revealing that they would release their debut album in April 2021. Too $hort then teased music in a DJ Vlad interview

"We have recorded somewhere in the neighbourhood of 50 songs. Volume 1 will be released in April, and the rest of the volumes will follow. At the age we're at is a good time to do a thing like this and kind of extend your career a bit in a different way… The minute we join forces, we get a handful of new business opportunities that none of us would've had,"

However, the project wasn't released to streaming platforms; Mount Westmore shared the project, Bad MFs, as an NFT in June this year via the Gala Music platform.

This time is different, though: the new Mount Westmore single, Too Big, will be available on all streaming platforms this Friday, and the album will "hit the streets" in December.

Earlier this month, Seth and Lauren Miller-Rogen recalled when Snoop Dogg auctioned off a blunt for their Alzheimer's charity, Hilarity For Charity. "If you're lucky enough to be able to get Snoop Dogg to come perform at your show and auction off a blunt for Alzheimer's care and research, then I think that speaks very well to an unexpected but effective kind of melding of matters and sensibilities," Rogen said.

In August, Snoop Dogg launched his own cereal brand, Snoop Loopz, with proceeds going to the charity Door Of Hope. Also in August, Dogg launched an animated TV show, Doggyland, in collaboration with Hip Hop Harry originator Claude Brooks and fellow musician October London.

Available via YouTube and YouTube Kids, Doggyland puts hip hop and R&B spins on classic childhood songs Heads, Shoulders Knees And Toes, and Wheels On The Bus and serves up some wholesome original tunes with titles like Sharing Is Caring, and Everyone Is Different.
