Kokoroko Announce Debut Australian Tour

Neo Jazz and Afrobeats group Kokoroko have today announced their debut Australian tour.

The group will perform across the East coast of Australia in March of 2023 performing at The Princess Theatre in Brisbane on Tuesday the 7th of March, The Factory Theatre in Sydney on Wednesday the 8th of March and The Croxton Bandroom in Melbourne on Friday the 10th of March. 

The group burst onto the scene in 2018 with We Out Here a project from Brownswood Recordings celebrating the brightest London jazz stars. Since then they've been named the crown jewel of the UK's budding jazz renaissance. 

They've completed sold out tours across Brazil, India and the UK aswell as performing at major events including Glastonbury, Wide Awake Festival, Lost Village, Super-Sonic Jazz Festival and many more. It's finally Australia's turn.

Their debut album Could We Be More which released this year, with its tracklist speaking to the creative force of the group. The record moves swiftly between highlife, soul, funk and Afrobeats showcasing a plethora of influences from West Africa to London and the Carribbean.

This is a tour you wont want to miss. Pre-sale begins on Wednesday the 26th of October at 12pm before general public tickets go on sale on Thursday the 27th of October at 12pm local time.
