New Japanese Restaurant And Party Bar Opens On Oxford Street

Kissuu, a new Japanese restaurant and party bar has opened on Oxford Street.
The project has been spearheaded by partners and head chef Adam Burke and music curator and DJ, Richy Penny.
The all in one dinner to disco venue venue is open from Tuesdays to Saturdays until late.
Industry leader, Paul Schulte has brought together a team of young entrepreneurial spirits and creative minds to conceptualise the new venue.
Schulte said, “It’s been an incredible experience to work with these extremely talented and passionate entrepreneurs who collectively understand the perfect mix of food, drinks and music that Sydney has been craving. You don’t see a lot of party bars in Sydney like you do in other major cities around the world and we wanted to fill that gap in the market here.”
The two level venue will see guests dine downstairs on fresh Japanese food then ascend upstairs to find a vibrant lounge with a DJ booth.

It’s the sort of place you can keep coming back to for a guaranteed quality night out.”
The upstairs area will host Sydney's finest selectors and DJs to play most nights.
Penny says: “Disco music lends itself perfectly to getting a sexy Japanese eatery grooving. We are going to have our guests shifting in their seats, then as the night goes on, the volume will go up and the dance floor will come to life!”
The room features punctuated neon trims that illuminate the walls, golden orange lounges and tables made to move around to make room for dancing.
Penny continued, “The intimate space makes it feel like you’re at the most epic house party with 100 of your closest friends and with our international connections, depending on who is in town, you never know who you could catch playing.”
