Rising UK pop singer-songwriter Griff has announced her return to Australia and her first-ever tour date in New Zealand in support of her debut album, vertigo.

Griff performed her first-ever shows in Australia in January, playing at Sydney’s Metro Theatre and Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall before performing at Heaps Good Festival in Melbourne and Adelaide. Today, she announces an East Coast tour for her devoted fans.

Griff’s Vertigo World Tour in Australia and New Zealand begins at Brisbane’s Princess Theatre on Tuesday, 13 August, before she heads to Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Thursday, 15 August, and Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Saturday, 17 August. She then heads to Auckland’s Powerstation on Monday, 19 August.

Frontier Touring members can access pre-sale tickets for 24 hours from Wednesday, 1 May (at 10 am local time) before the general public on-sale begins on Friday, 3 May, at 11 am local time. You can purchase tickets via the Frontier Touring website.

In addition to announcing the Vertigo World Tour, Griff has announced that her debut album will be released via Warner Music Australia on Friday, 19 July. You can pre-order/pre-save the album here.

The album announcement follows the release of her new single, Miss Me Too, and the unique tracklist reveal she shared on Instagram.

On vertigo, Griff said in a press release, “the album is about vertigo as an emotion and the dizziness and upside down feeling of heartache. I wanted to drop this project in parts from insular low feelings (Vol.1) to desperate euphoria (Vol.2) and with volume three, the full story.”

In a review of Heaps Good festival at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl, The Music’s Michael Prebeg wrote of Griff’s performance, “Her incredible vocal range is packed full of emotional depth and reaches the audience far and wide.”
