Trinidad born, Eora-based artist Gold Fang has shared his new single and video Big Natty Rasta.

Fang's stream of releases has made him one of Australia's strongest local tastemakers as well as being at the forefront of Australia's thriving Afro-Caribbean creative community. Across his discography, including tracks like Wet, Light It and Make It Snow, Fang's won over his audience through his unique versatility, his undeniable charisma and intimate story telling abilities.

Big Natty Rasta is produced by Swick and is an energy inducing number driven by a ferocious drum and bass line and levelled out by Fang's infectious vocal delivery. The track land's alongside a video directed by frequent collaborators The Sesh adding another visual layer to Fang's expansive musical palette.

On the video referencing his experience of his Trinidadian roots, he shared, "They had this thing back in the days where even in my country, you had to have certain hairstyles or else you get sent home, or the teachers would say something about it. Big Natty Rasta is about going against the grain - people look at Rastas as rebellious, and I think it is rebellious.

"It's not you trying to be the clean-cut person, it's about you embracing who you are - embracing growth and authenticity. Big Natty Rasta is about eating a whole heap of pasta and causing disasters."

Gold Fang will be heading on tour throughout November and December with the Terry's performing in Sydney, Melbourne as well as his own show in Melbourne and Wollongong. You can keep up to date with Gold Fang HERE and check out the music video below.
