1 September 2022 | 8:00 am | Emma Whines

Sydney is in for a treat!

More Lil Nas X More Lil Nas X

Sydneysiders missing out on the jam-packed Falls line-up are in for a treat with sideshows that feature festival dazzling headliner Lil Nas X, iconic singer PinkPantheress and LA pop duo Magdalena Bay confirmed.

Lil Nas X will be gracing the Hordern Pavillion stage on Wednesday the 4th of January as part of his Long Live Montero Tour. This will be the first time that the hugely successful 23-year-old will have played in a Sydney venue. Don’t miss the rapper, singer, songwriter and internet king’s first Sydney show when he performs in January, fresh off his headline slots at Falls and Lost Paradise.

On the same night, PinkPantheress will be performing her critically acclaimed debut mix tape, to hell with it, to screaming fans at the Roundhouse. Since releasing the debut in 2021, PinkPantheress has gone from strength to strength, amassing a total of half a billion streams on her first release and securing a place in the Spotify RADAR program. Come and watch the TikTok star wow crowds with her irresistibly catchy songs.

The final sideshow will take place on the 5th of January at the Oxford Art Factory with the ever-cool Magdalena Bay. Masters in the studio, Magdalena Bay have written, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered their debut album Mercurial World. Inspired by Charlie XCX and Grimes, the band are focused on creating captivating soundscapes that lull you into a dream state.
