Drake has broken The Beatles' 55-year-old record for holding the most top five hits on the Billboard 100. Drake's feature spot on DJ Khaled's Staying Alive has broken into the top five this week, landing at number five, giving the Canadian rapper his record-breaking 30th top five hit.

The new milestone also extends the artist's grip on the records for performing the most top 10, top 20, top 40 and overall Hot 100 entries in the chart's history.

Drake took to Twitter to celebrate smashing The Beatles' record.

Drake's unprecedented dominance of the 64-year-old chart is another example of his otherworldly star power, which has seen him become the most streamed artist in history, with 46.8 billion streams on Spotify alone.

Drake also holds the record for the most Billboard Hot 100 hits with a staggering 277. Those 277 feature 44 top-10 debuts, which is yet another all-time record. The Grammy-award-winner has also racked up an impressive eleven US number-one hits during that run.

Drake surprise dropped an album Honestly, Nevermind in June. The album was executive produced by Aubrey (Drake) Graham, Noah 40 Shebib, El Khatib, Noel Cadastre and Black Coffee.

Home to the number-one hit Jimmy Cooks and top 20 hits Sticky and Massive it has been a commercial success.

Honestly, Nevermind received mixed reviews from critics. Drake believes critiques of the record don't appreciate dance music

Honestly, Nevermind came only nine months after his commercial smash record Certified Lover Boy, which featured the likes of 21 Savage, Future, Young Thug and Travis Scott. It joins his catalogue of highly esteemed studio albums including 2013s Nothing Was The Same, 2016s Views and 2018s double album Scorpion.
