Doja Cat has found herself in hot water once again for wearing a shirt with controversial figure and “neo-Nazi” comic Sam Hyde's face on it.

Hyde is co-founder of the sketch comedy group Adult Swim’s Million Dollar Extreme Presents: World Peace, which was cancelled after just one reason following complaints of racist and sexist themes, as per Buzzfeed.

Hyde has faced for pledging financial support to the legal defence fund of Andrew Anglin, the founder of the neo-Nazi website The Daily Stormer.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, Doja was seen donning the contentious shirt of the comic.

Clearly copping flak for the original post, she then replaced the pic with a different selfie where the T-shirt featuring Hyde's face was no longer visible — though she added several eye-rolling emojis in the caption.

However, she still left a selfie with the T-shirt on her Instagram story — and followers were quick to call her out on social media.

“Imagine being a pick me for incels… like Doja cat is really trying her best to be cancelled and un-famous [sic] again just so she can get back to those racial chat rooms full time,” one person tweeted.

“Doja Cat is a trailer trash white woman hands down. She ain’t no dummy tho because she’s catering to that cult so if a lot of her Black fans fall off she can still maintain her career,” another wrote.

It’s not the first time the Paint The Town Red rapper has come under fire for such behaviour. Back in May 2020, she issued an apology after footage went viral of the singer allegedly participating in online chat rooms associated with alt-right and racist groups surfaced.

“I understand my influence and impact and I’m taking this all very seriously,” she wrote in an Instagram at the time.

“I love you all and I’m sorry for upsetting or hurting any of you. That’s not my character and I’m determined to show that to everybody moving forward.

“I’ve used public chat rooms to socialise since I was a child,” she added. “I shouldn’t have been on some of those chat room sites but I personally have never been involved in any racist conversations. I’m sorry to everyone I offended.”

She also royally pissed off her own fans earlier this year after making fun of her fanbase fame “Kittenz”.

"My fans don't name themselves shit," she wrote in her since-deleted Threads conversation that was captured by The Shade Room.

“If you call yourself a 'kitten' or fuckking 'kittenz' that means you need to get off your phone and get a job and help your parents with the house."

A fan responded, "??? only using the name YOU gave your fans," to which Doja replied, "When i was an alcoholic teen."

Another person added, "can you love ur kittenz again or no," to which Doja answered: "i don't know what the fuck that means."

When one fan account asked what they should change their name to, Doja responded, "Just delete the entire account and rethink everything it's never too late."
