Rapper Desiigner has announced his plans to check in to a mental health facility after he was busted exposing himself on an international flight over the weekend.

According to TMZ, the Panda hitmaker was flying to the US, with stops in Thailand and Tokyo, when he allegedly exposed himself and was subsequently told off by a flight attendant.

Upon the flight landing in Minneapolis on Monday, he was met by cops, questioned and eventually released.

Now, the 25-year-old has spoken out about the incident, admitting he is "ashamed" of his actions.

"For the past few months, I have not been ok, and I have been struggling to come to terms with what is going on. While overseas for a concert I performed at, I had to be admitted into a hospital, I was not thinking clearly," Desiigner said in a statement.

He continued, "They gave me meds, and I had to hop on a plane home. I am ashamed of my actions that happened on that plane. I landed back to the States, and am admitting myself to a facility to help me."

"I will be cancelling all shows and any obligations until further notice. Mental health is real guys, please pray for me. If you're not feeling like yourself please get help."

Desiigner had been in Thailand where he performed at Rolling Loud last Friday, alongside headliners Cardi B, Chris Brown and Travis Scott, and at a nightclub in Tokyo over the weekend.

It's not the first time the rapper has landed in hot water while flying. Back in 2018, he was booted from a Scandinavian Airlines flight after he “spazzed” at a flight attendant who touched him during a flight from Sweden to Germany.

“Airlines, they can’t touch you, they can’t put their hands on you, right? So straight up f**k (Scandinavian) Airlines,” he said at the time.

“They kicked me off my flight just ‘cause this b***h put her hands on me… They always try to make the black man try to pull the white card and it’s like, I’m tired of trying to be victim of that s**t.”

He added that the woman put her hands on him and he “spazzed on her ass."
