More Childish Gambino More Childish Gambino

Childish Gambino - aka the multitalented genius that is Donald Glover - has teased fans with a preview of his newest track, Sticky.

The new tune served as the psychedelic soundtrack for the trailer to Glover’s new Amazon Prime TV series, Swarm, a sister show to his previous TV project, Atlanta.

“Sticky-icky / Somebody’s watching, so watch your back / Don’t look back, look at the mess you’ve made,” the song’s clip says throughout the trailer.

Meanwhile, the official Swarm Twitter account revealed that the series is set to feature new music by "Ni'Jah with Kirby featuring Childish Gambino," and shared a pre-save link to a new Swarm EP that will apparently drop Friday, March 17.

Given that Sticky marks the first track from the busy star in four years, with his last feature being alongside bLAck pARty on I Love You More Than You Know in August year, fans are understandably excited.

The preview comes following Glover telling fans in January this year that he's still making music as Childish Gambino, and promised that "something will happen" soon.

"I'm making music right now. I love it. I'm actually working [on it]. I'm in the studio. I've been, like, bringing people in, like secret people,” he said at the time.

“Like, working on little things. But I've just been, like, making it for fun for right now. But soon, something will happen I promise. Something will happen."

Amid previous speculation that he was retiring Childish Gambino, he added, “That was out in the ethos ... You don't have to worry about that. He'll be back. He's here right now."

Glover’s latest show Swarm is also set to be an exciting prospect for Atlanta fans, with the series taking a hard look at the world of stans as it follows Dominique Fishback who plays superfan Dre, "a young woman whose obsession with a pop star takes a dark turn."
