More Camp Cope More Camp Cope

Power-emo trio Camp Cope have announced their massive Running With The Hurricane Australian album tour this may, performing tracks in support of their forthcoming third album which is set for release on March 25.

The May tour will see the band perform at The Tivoli in Brisbane on the 7th, Enmore Theatre in Sydney on the 12th, The Forum in Melbourne on the 13th and Theatre Royal in Castlemaine on the 14th.

The tour will be their first run of shows since the How To Socialise & Make Friends album tour over four years ago.

Fans have already had a first glance into the energy of seeing the new record live with Camp Cope making their US television debut on CBS Saturday Mornings, as well as performing Running With The Hurricane and a cover of Sam Fender's Seventeen Going Under on triple j's Like A Version.

The sonic shift on Running With The Hurricane was a result of the pandemic changing everything for the band, from jobs, to cities, to places of residence, to perspectives on civilisation.

When the trio came together in the studio, they removed the pressure of deadlines and global touring schedules, which allowed them to take their time and just create beautiful music. What culminated, is their most triumphant and beautiful album to date.
