Global pop music superstar Billie Eilish has revealed the mystery tattoo she said fans wouldn’t “ever see” in a series of Instagram photos shared by her friend, Annabel Zimmer (daughter of legendary composer Hans Zimmer).

The tattoo is located on her chest, which fans have finally seen for the first time in a bikini pic. The tattoo simply says 'Eilish', detailed with a cool heavy metal-influenced font.

“I did get a tattoo, but you won’t ever see it,” the Happier Than Ever singer told Vanity Fair in November 2020.

Giving some more details in a Rolling Stone interview in June 2021, the chest tattoo was described as “an ornate, gothic font, in the middle of her chest the day after the 2020 Grammys”.

In January, Katy Perry shared her regrets about turning down working with Billie Eilish before she skyrocketed to fame. Addressing the crowd at a 102.7 KIIS FM event, Perry admitted, "It was a song called Ocean Eyes, and it was just a blonde girl. And I was like, ‘Meh, boring.’" She said it was a "big mistake, huge mistake" to pass up the offer.

Ocean Eyes was an early hit for Eilish and catapulted her to global fame. The song is 21x Platinum in seven countries and has been covered by Alicia Keys, Machine Gun Kelly and Shamir.

Last August, Eilish duetted with British vocal teacher Sheridan Coldstream, appearing on his TikTok to teach students how to sing her acclaimed song Listen Before I Go.

Coldstream shared a video on TikTok, teaching his students how to sing along to Eilish's Listen Before I Go. He demonstrated using his talented vocal ability how he wanted students to attack the song differently from Eilish's original recording.

Eilish, being the perfect student, did exactly as he said, following along with his piano accompaniment. She then shared the video with her 45.5 million followers on TikTok. The video quickly already reached 33.4 million views and Coldstream commented on the video expressing his gratitude.

“There’s a bit in the song where she normally goes down,” said the 58-year-old, who runs Total Vocal at his studio. “I suggested that some singers may want to take it higher and she did exactly that, so I was gobsmacked," Coldstream told BBC News.
