Torren Foot, Taleena, Jarred Baker + More To Play At Ivy's Above Launch This Easter Saturday

Australia's leading nightlife teams have joined forces to launch a new Saturday night residency, Above, at Sydney's iconic nightclub, ivy. 

Kicking off this Easter Saturday, April 8, Above is set to rival the world's best immersive super-clubs while transporting clubgoers to another realm.

Created by Merivale's nightlife team in collaboration with the teams at Finely Tuned (Lost Sundays and Lost Paradise) and One Hit (Boogie, Defected and Glitterbox), Above will be a feast for the senses as it features massive lofted LED lighting installations running the length of the club, striking installations of colour and silhouette, costumed dancers performing on transparent platforms and deeply consuming audio-visual encounters.

Above will also feature a rotating cast of international guests and Australia's best DJs, with the opening night line-up including JARRED BAKER, LOZD, PAX, TALEENA & TORREN FOOT. 

Taking inspiration from the world's best nightclubs such as Printworks London and Space Miami, renowned creative art collective Babekühl, whose work has been commissioned by the likes of Flight Facilities, Sam Smith and Vivid Sydney, will lead the immersive visual experiences. 

Pat Santamaria from Babekühl said, "We view nightclubs as enormous, immersive, audio-visual experiences, a culture that will one day be immortalised in modern art galleries."

Tickets are now available starting from $25, and VIP bottle service booth experiences will also be available.
