Cult adored rap crew 1300 have combined with SOLLYY to share new collaboration, CARDIO!

The track follows the release of the group's debut mixtape Foreign Language. The mixtape brought them significant acclaim, establishing them as one of the most hyped artists to emerge from Australia this past year. The project saw them become nominated for the Australian Music Prize and, more recently, the FBi Radio SMAC Award for Record Of The Year and Best Video for track Oldboy.

For SOLLYY, CARDIO! excitingly follows club banger meets Australian rap anthem APPLY THE PRESSURE alongside fast up and comer Zion Garcia. While best known for his production, SOLLYY also hosts one of so called Sydney's most exciting events, HOTTER OUT WEST which provides a platform for Western Sydney DJs to showcase their immense talent.

Both artists are exemplary community leaders, constantly presenting fierce creativity that is not limited by genre, preconceived notions or traditional conventions, both sonically and societally.

CARDIO! diverges from 1300's traditional sound of mashed hip-hop and electronic music into a trap fuelled, bass driven world. It features tension fuelling breakdowns and precise drops, allowing each member to showcase their immense talent.

1300 have taken a more tongue-in-cheek approach to the track, drawing from the fan feedback on how their music is often listened to in gym settings, "We thought it’d be funny to make a song called ‘Cardio’ because we all don’t do any exercise at all. We’re like asthmatic, don’t do any exercise, don’t do cardio ever.”
