TikTok Australia Reveal Nominees For The 2023 TikTok Awards

Get ready to roll out the red carpet, as TikTok, in collaboration with CeraVe, announces its n all-new end-of-year awards show: The TikTok Awards, presented by CeraVe.

The event promises to be a star-studded affair, celebrating the platform's most influential and innovative content creators. The ceremony is scheduled for the 6th of December at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney, plus hit will also be streamed LIVE on @tiktok_australia from 7pm AEDT, and available to stream on BINGE from Sunday 10 December 2023 AEDT

The TikTok Awards will be hosted by a dynamic trio: Tony Armstrong, Abbie Chatfield, and Kat Clark, bringing together a mix of charm, wit, and star power to the stage.

Ten prestigious awards are up for grabs, including the highly anticipated Creator of the Year 2023. Nominees vying for the title include culinary wizard Andy Hearnden, lifestyle influencer Indy Clinton, and the vibrant Sophia Begg, among others.

The event will not only honour local talent but also shine a spotlight on international creators. With nominees like the charismatic Chris Olsen and the train enthusiast Francis Bourgeois flying in, the award for International Creator of the Year adds a global flavour to the evening.

Abbie Chatfield, host of BINGE Original FBoy Island, expressed her excitement for the inaugural event, saying: "I can't wait for the inauguralTikTok Awards! I love that TikTok is a platform that celebrates so many different niches and encourages creativity. It's going to be an amazing night of music, dancing, comedy, and so much more, so you'll have to tune in to find out what tricks we have up our sleeve!"

Kat Clark, last year's Creator of the Year, shared, "Taking out the top award last year was such a massive privilege, and has really supercharged my career both on and off TikTok. I couldn't be more thrilled to be returning for this year's Awards to join Abbie & Tony to host the night!"

Fans will also be able to vote for their favourite creators and videos via the TikTok app, with the winners to be crowned on the night. Voting opens today, Wednesday, 1 November, and will continue until 1 December - visit the TikTok Awards hub in-app for more information (access the hub via the TikTok app for the best voting experience).

Not only that, but 15 lucky Aussies will also have the opportunity to win a double pass to meet all their favourite creators and join in the fun on Wednesday, 6 December.

All you have to do is head to this link, and tell them who your favourite Aussie or NZ creator of 2023 is and why, and you'll be in the running to win tickets to the TikTok Awards.
