The Sydney Comedy Festival has just announced an exciting addition to its already stellar lineup for the 2024 festival, set to take over Sydney from April 22nd to May 19th.

The festival, known for bringing together a broad mix of comedy talent, promises to be a highlight of the year for comedy enthusiasts looking for a night out full of laughs.

Joining the previously announced acts like Luke Heggie, Swamplesque, and Tom Gleeson are Taskmaster comics, Tom Cashman and Nina Oyama. Fans of the popular improvised comedy series Thank God You’re Here will be thrilled to see favourites Rhys Nicholson, Joel Creasey, and Frankie McNair added to the roster.

In a special treat for improv fans, the festival will also see the return of The Bear Pack, while Reuben Kaye, known for his brash and beautifully outrageous performances, will also grace the festival.

The festival is not just about local talent. It will also feature a strong contingent of international comedians, including Guy Montgomery, who won the Best of the Fest Award in 2023. Joining him are Melanie Bracewell, Schalk Bezuidenhout, Chris Parker, Guy Williams, Ray O’Leary, and the uniquely entertaining Sh!tfaced Shakespeare.
