Amsterdam house and techno festival Dekmantel has dropped its first round of artists for it’s highly anticipated Melbourne/Naarm 2024 lineup.

Announcing the news via Instagram, organisers wrote, “Australia, we’re beyond thrilled to reveal our main line-up for #DekmantelNaarm24! Join us for the 28th until the 31st of March and stay tuned for our after-party announcements, coming soon. Pre-registration is still open for a short time, sign up now to get first access to tickets.”

The lineup at the Melbourne Recital Centre on March 28 includes E Fishpool, Laraaji, Priori and Yu Su, a Chinese-Canadian electronic dance music producer also performing live.

The festival will culminate with a vibrant outdoor event at Footscray Park on March 30, featuring an eclectic lineup including Adriana, Batu, C.Frim, Call Super & Palm Trax, Carista, Casper Tielrooij, Claire Morgan, Dameeeela, Djrum, Gavsborg (Equinoxx), Kate Miller, Kia & Priori, Lauren Handsom & Gee Dee, DJ Nobu, Peter Van Hoesen (performing live), DJ PGZ & Yikes, Pjenné, Sleep D (performing live), and Stev Zar.

Following the outdoor celebration, Dekmantel will take the beats to Sub Club for a night that extends into the early morning. The grand finale on March 31 will be hosted by Miscellania.

Last month, the festival announced its return to Melbourne/Naarm on Thursday, 28 March where it will run until Sunday, 31 March.

“Australia, we’ve got news for you! Dekmantel is coming to Naarm on March 28–31, 2024. Save the dates, pre-register via the link in our bio and stay tuned for news—coming soon,” they posted to social media.

Like the Amsterdam event, Melbourne’s Dekmantel may follow a similar format that allows punters to sleep at home/in nearby accommodations rather than become a camping event.

Dekmantel made its Australian debut in February 2016 at the Caulfield Racecourse.

Berlin-based production duo Tale Of Us headlined the inaugural event, with Detroit's Omar S, New Yorker Mike Servito (debut Australian performance), Amsterdam-native San Proper, Berlin-based American Anthony Naples, Ukrainian DJ Vakula and Dutch collective Dekmantel Soundsystem also on the bill.
