Dough My God! Cookie Dough M&Ms Are Coming To Australia

In some major news for those who like a sweet treat, Mars Wrigley has revealed they’re set to introduce Cookie Dough flavoured M&M's across the nation in January in a world-first.

The new flavour will feature the classic M&M's milk chocolate exterior, featuring a delicious cookie dough centre encased in the brand's signature crisp shell.

Rumours of the mouthwatering release began circulating in back October, sparked by a TikTok food blogger @nectoriouspapi, who confidently predicted the launch of M&M's Cookie Dough by the end of the year or early 2024.

Social media erupted with excitement, with one eager user exclaiming, "Can’t wait to try!!" and another joyfully declaring, "Christmas has come early."

The groundbreaking flavour was crafted at Mars Wrigley's cutting-edge facility in Ballarat, Victoria.

“We’re seeing a rise in consumers not only wanting flavour variations from their favourite snacks and treats but textural experiences as well. Our new M&M’S Cookie Dough houses a real cookie dough centre in the heart of an M&M – it’s a textural experience that we know Aussies will love,” said Ben Hill, Mars Wrigley’s marketing director.

“This world-first innovation speaks to what our Australian consumers love; the iconic combination of cookie dough and chocolate, as well as demonstrates our local capability to keep producing leading product innovations.”

Starting January 2024, M&M's Cookie Dough chocolate will be available at major retailers, including Coles, Woolworths, and leading independent retailers and convenience stores, with a tempting price tag of $5.50.

This exciting addition to the M&M's lineup will join other beloved flavours such as Milk Chocolate, Peanut, Crispy, Coconut, Mocha Mudcake, and Brownie.
