Sydney Opera House is set to host the highly-anticipated All About Women festival on March 10, 2024, as a grand finale to the International Women's Day week.

The recently released program features an epic lineup of more than 40 thought leaders participating in 24 events, discussing a spectrum of issues important to women and gender-diverse individuals.

Headlining the event are esteemed personalities such as Grace Tame, Jan Fran, Nakkiah Lui, Anna Funder, and Rebecca F Kuang, who will delve into crucial topics including power dynamics, consent, "sad girls" novels, and the beauty industry.

The festival, curated by Chip Rolley, the Opera House's head of talks and ideas, and previous All About Women guests Bri Lee, Clementine Ford, and Nakkiah Lui, promises a diverse and engaging program.

Key panels to look out for include Our Bodies, featuring activists Grace Tame and Tanya Hosch, writer Madison Griffiths, and author Tara Rae Moss discussing the control and judgment of the female body. Why So Sad, Girl will explore the current fascination with "sad girl" novels with participants like Jessie Tu, Neha Kale, and Madeleine Gray.

In Influencers Are the New Intellectuals, Mary Mcgillivray, Sisonke Msimang, Hannah Ferguson, and Larissa Behrendt will examine the interplay between online personas, money, and education.

Renowned authors such as Anna Funder, Chanel Contos, Marisa Meltzer, and Anne Enright will lead captivating talks on various subjects, from the impact of George Orwell's wife on his works, to rethinking porn and delving into the beauty industry.

Other guests include presenters Jan Fran, Lucinda “Froomes” Price, Brooke Boney, Barkaa and writer Michelle Law.

Apart from discussions, the festival will offer a series of engaging workshops, including candle-making with Nonna’s Grocer, a femininity-focused dance class, and a mindful journaling session.

Attendees can also participate in a speed-mating session hosted by Chrissy Flanagan of Chaotic Social and join a book club. Additionally, the Western Broadwalk and the Concert Hall will feature Angela Tiatia's installation, Narcissus.
