The Abercrombie Is Holding A 15 Hour Non-Stop 1st Birthday Bash

Sydney’s Abercrombie Hotel —the birthplace of Purple Sneakers — has announced they’ll be hosting an epic 15-hour non-stop party this weekend to celebrate its first birthday since re-opening.

ICYMI: After a transformative reopening as a multi-venue 24-hour nightclub a year ago, the venue has become the city's cultural hub, hosting a variety of events and parties, kicking off with a massive 36-hour launch party back ad seven straight days of programming leading into the new year.

For the birthday bash, patrons can again expect a stellar lineup featuring an impressive array of curators, creatives, and crews who have played a pivotal role in shaping The Abercrombie's vibrant community (check out the the full list below).

And be sure to bring your dancing shoes, because the event kicks off at 6 pm, Saturday, December 23, all the way until 9 am on Sunday, December 24.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy sundowners on the rooftop terrace at Casa Rosa before hitting the dance floor on the ground floor club space.

Upon reopening the beloved venue one year ago, CEO of Solotel, Elliot Solomon stated at the time: "There’s a strong sense of responsibility reopening the Abercrombie given that formative memories of generations of Sydney partiers, including myself, were forged here.

"We’re ecstatic to welcome back some of the OG club crews like Purple Sneakers. We’re also very aware that there’s a generation of kids who haven’t been able to experience those heady clubbing days in Sydney, for various reasons.

"This new era for the Abercrombie is focused on helping to redefine the meaning of Sydney’s social scene as well as provide a platform for the next generation of party crews and clubbers to create their own culture-defining experiences.”
