Basketball fever is set to hit Australia as Pacific Dreams Collective and 24 Calibre Presents roll out the red carpet for the first-ever NBA All-Star Down Under Basketball Event.

Kicking off on February 17th at Swisherr Hoops in Hobart and then hitting The Timber Yard in Melbourne on February 18th, this event brings together a lineup of basketball legends in what’s set to be a weekend packed with thrills for fans.

Attendees can rub shoulders with the likes of Isaiah Thomas, a two-time NBA All-Star, and Mario Chalmers, a two-time NBA Champion. Guy Dupuy, the dunking maestro celebrating an unbeaten 16-year streak, will be there to defy gravity, along with street baller Whit3 Iverson and Liptek, the dunk champ from Poland, showcasing their unique styles.

For the Aussie ballers dreaming big, NBA skills trainer Ronald Taylor is on deck, hosting a skills clinic in both Hobart and Melbourne. It's the kind of chance aspiring players can't afford to miss, learning from the best in the business.

But it's not just about the court action. The weekend will be jam-packed with activities – from clinics and player meet-and-greets to a 3-point contest and an epic Dunk Show.

There’s also a live Q&A session, where you can get up close and personal with your favourite hoop stars. The festivities will reach a climax with a Celebrity All-Star Game in Melbourne.

Guy Dupuy, co-founder of the event, couldn't be more excited, saying, “We are so thrilled to be able to present this event in Australia, at a time when basketball is at its peak of attention worldwide. It’s fantastic to see how this sport that used to be just for the streets is now firmly celebrated by all segments of society, all over the world.”

And it's not just about basketball, with the event set to be a cultural celebration with food trucks, urban music, and interactive basketball activities.
