ALDI + BrewDog Are Hosting A Sydney Pop-Up Pub With $3.25 Beers

Beloved German-born supermarket ALDI is making a splash in the beer scene with its latest cold one – ALDI IPA brewed by BrewDog — priced at a super affordable $3.25.

To mark the launch of “the perfect summer beer”, ALDI is hosting a one-night-only pop-up pub named Special Brews at Hotel Sweeney's on Clarence Street in Sydney on Wednesday, December 13, where the beers on offer will be sold for just $3.25 from 3–7pm.

The pop-up pub will operate on a first-come-first-served basis with no bookings, so heading over early is recommended. There'll also be a three-drink limit per person — which also means you’ll spend less than $10 for the experience.

Described as "a fresh, fruity ale with tasting notes of citrus, stone fruits and a hint of toast", made with four different hops and coming in at four per cent ABV, ALD IPA costs $13 for a four-pack.

The latest boozy addition will be hitting shelves on Wednesday, December 20 in selected NSW, ACT, VIC and WA ALDI stores while stocks last — just in time for the silly season celebrations.

Of course, the supermarket giants will also bring back the cheer with its beloved alcohol advent calendars.
