From Thursday, 22 to Saturday, 31 August, the historic Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne will be transformed into a vibrant epicentre of electronic music and culture for a second year as Untitled Group and the City Of Melbourne renew the esteemed Now Or Never festival.

The 2024 edition promises a stellar array of both local heavyweights and international talents. International imports include Italy’s Donato Dozzy, Zurich-born, Berlin-based DJ AYA, French techno connoisseur François X, and Berliner Estella Boersma. Gunai/Kurnai & Yorta Yorta artist and Melbourne local DJ PGZ will be the only national artist on the bill.

For Naarm locals, DJ PGZ is a pretty well-known name. The techno artist has done everything from radio presenting on RRR’s Good Static to co-curating BLK ICE events and producing sessions for both triple j Mix-Up and Boiler Room. As for the international legends, expect a flurry of techno, electro, and breakbeat.

The legends behind events such as Wildlands, Beyond The Valley, and Melbourne’s electronic go-to venue Xe45, Untitled Group promise to make their second instalment of Now Or Never anything but boring. The ten-day event will extend beyond the sonic soundscapes of electronica into realms of art and technology with a focus on the future of all things.

While the stacked DJ lineup will take over the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton on 24 August, a stacked list of artists, innovators, and muses will fill the venue from 22-31 August. Check out more on the Now or Never website, and get your tickets now.
